GTA IV "The lost and damned" - (GTASeries.com)
Rockstar's Dan Houser has told USA Today the main plot for the upcoming first downloadable episode for GTA IV on the Xbox 360.
The first episode titled "the lost and damned" tells the story of Johnny Klebitz,
a member of Liberty City biker gang The Lost.

Quote:
"Johnny is a very different character than Niko, with a very different background," says Dan Houser, vice president of creative development for Rockstar Games. "I can't go into too much detail on the story, because we try not to give away too much plot before the game is released. But I can say that the story will show you a different side of Liberty City."

They also state that the episode will be available February 17th, but there is no other confirmation of this date.

GTA IV PC site update - (GTASeries.com)
Rockstar revealed some more about GTA IV's upcoming PC version.
They updated the official GTA IV website with new High quality screens and announced 32player multiplayer support and a new radio station 'Independence FM', which plays ytour own favorite music.

Even more noticable is the video editore featurette, which explains a bit about the new ingame video editor feature, which looks awesome to say the least judging from the screens and sample clips from the Social Club TV.

At the same time they opened the Social Club TV website, which is the place to upload your videos and watch videos uploaded by others.

Key to the city - (GTASeries.com)
Over half a year ago, when Rockstar released GTA IV and the Social Club, they announced a contest for completing the game 100%.
The past week several people have finally received their prizes, which is indeed a key to the city (and a nice one too, as can be seen in the photo below).

Gamespot's GTA IV PC handson - (GTASeries.com)
Gamespot had a handson experience with the PC version of GTA IV.
They've taken a good look at the new polished graphics and all, but mostly were shown the new video editing feature.

IT's a real interesting read, but I'll paste some highlights anyway:
Quote:

GTAIV on the PC automatically buffers between about 30 seconds and three minutes of recent game data, depending on how much action there is going on onscreen.

The editor itself is accessed via a new menu in Niko's phone.

Opening up the editor, the controls seem very simple. The most important selection initially is the camera: You have the option of the default game view, which is exactly the view you saw as you played through the segment, the view from any of various nearby targets, several fixed angles--to Niko's right, say, or head-on--as well as a free camera.

This means that you can easily set the camera to pan 360 degrees around Niko in the time it takes him to draw his weapon; for greater effect, you can even add filters to the shots or slow down time.

You also have complete control of the sound in any given clip, turning voices on and off at will. You can add any song on the soundtrack over the top and even push the SFX volume up to make the most of those explosions and gunfire in those dramatic moments.

For the full story, head over to Gamespot.

Rockstar today confirmed what we reported several weeks ago.
GTA IV is getting trophy support on the PS3 next Monday October 27th.

Wheither all previously reported trophies are in fact the real ones is uncertain, but it seems very likely and there will be 51 which will be revealed the same day at the official GTA IV website.

GTA IV zombie infection - (GTASeries.com)
In the past during online play some players were spotted looking like the undead wearing nothing more than yellow briefs, this seemed random at the time.

Rockstar now deliberately released a virus in Liberty City which may turn players in any multiplayermode into zombies.
So look out for players either looking like a zombie or having the 'let sleeping rockstars lie' achievement.

You can check out the rest of the story and even track the infection's worldwide effect over at Rockstar Social Club

San Andreas to Xbox marketplace - (GTASeries.com)
GTA San Andreas is heading out to the Xbox marketplace October 20th (next week).

It might be a nice addition to your games list if you skipped the previous generation of consoles or have been living under a rock for three years, otherwise I want to remind you that the original San Andreas Xbox disc is backwards compatible on the 360 (which would save you 1200 MS points...

GTA IV PC trailer - (GTASeries.com)

Rockstar made a new trailer announcing the PC version.
The video can be found (exclusively) over at Gametrailers

It does seem a little sharper (and bighter) but I can't say I've noticed a big difference between the console versions and this trailer.
